To give participants the basic knowledge and skills necessary to observe the highest standard of food hygiene in the food business. To improve the application of hygiene practices by every individual member of kitchen, in meeting the required standards of food hygiene at all stages of food handling, storage and management at kitchen level. To provide the technical skills and confidence to the kitchen teams and service team in order to deliver consistent standards of food service and customer service.

Examination
We have sets of EXAMS for each of the package in addition to practical assignments which you must pass before certification. Pass mark is 50%. If you fail any of the exams, you would be required to re-sit it at the cost N3000 per paper.

The course fee covers: registration, examination fee, tuition, course materials, tea break and lunch break. After payment and registration, you will receive the complete course material ahead of the training.

Duration, Delegates and Responsibilities
The duration of the course is 1 day. The course is delivered in our Full Multi-Media, Air-conditioned Training Laboratory. The course can also be delivered as an in- House Training Program in your premises. For in-house training, the minimum number of persons required per class is 6 persons, if you are training a class that is less than 6 persons, your payment may cover payment for 6 persons.

We shall execute the program as presented in this schedule with our materials, equipment and instructors, and issue certificates to participants at the end of the program. If the training is holding at our Training Laboratory, we shall serve tea/coffee with snacks and lunch during the program.

If you want the training to hold in your company premises, you are to provide the training hall and serve tea/coffee with snacks and lunch during the program. If the training location is outside Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, an additional cost to cover logistics at such a location will be added to the total cost unless provided or specific arrangement is made by the company.

Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications in Nigeria (Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja) are provided by Safeguard Resources and Technologies Limited. We offer these Courses in 3 of our training centers in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja as an in-house program in company premises.

If you want the training to hold in your company premises, you are to provide the training hall and serve tea/coffee with snacks and lunch during the program.
